Healthy Hair Care Routine | 12 Tips and Trick

20160210_010012-1

Hello everyone, Welcome to my Page. Today I am going to talk about healthy hair care routine, tips, and tricks! I am going to share my own experience of how I managed to make my hair healthy and long today which was not so  a year ago. Honestly I never thought that I would have long hair because I used to have very thin, dull and short hair. However hard I tried to get grow my hair beyond a certain length it kept falling, drying up, and splitting. But, soon I discovered a secret to beautiful hair…and today I am going to share that with you…

1. Oiling regularly

Oiling hair regularly is the most effective treatment for hair problems, including hair loss, split ends, frizz, dullness, thinning and graying of hair.
Basically I love coconut oil for my hair. If you want you can also lukewarm the oil and  apply  this oil with the help of your fingertips to your routes first then the rest of hair and massage it for 15 to 20 minutes.
Massaging the scalp and hair with lukewarm oil helps rejuvenate it and combats the loss of health due to chemical treatments. It also relaxes nerves in the brain, thus facilitating blood circulation. Coconut oil is rich in carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals which are good for the hair and body both.  Coconut oil helps to make hair strong, nourished and protected from the effects of premature aging, like baldness and excessive hair loss.

2. Cleansing properly

20160504_021653   Healthy and clean hair follicles are important for maintaining healthy hair and promoting hair growth. Without proper cleansing, buildup from styling products, oil and dead skin cells can accumulate on your scalp, causing flaking, a greasy appearance and slower hair growth. For that apple cider vinegar is the best option.  Before shampooing use apple cider vinegar mixed with equal amounts of water and rinse hair with this mixture. Wait for 30 minutes and than shampoo it. Apple cider vinegar contains natural alpha-hydroxy acid, which gently exfoliates the scalp and hair, allowing for removal of dead skin cells and build up that can occur from sweat or conventional hair products. This improves the appearance of the hair, reduces itchiness, and dandruff and allows for better styling.

3. Deep conditioning (hair mask)

Conditioning your hair is very important for healthy hair. It make your hair strong, shiny and beautiful from inside and out. You can use ingredients according to your hair condition.

Oily hair mask for oily hair take one egg white, one full table spoon of amla powder, one table spoon of coconut oil, one table spoon of yogurt and one tea spoon of lemon juice.  Mix all the ingredients well to get a paste form. Now  apply this mask to your route first and then the rest of  hair.  Leave this mask for at least 3o to 4o min. Since there is an egg in it,   wash your hair with normal tap water to remove the mask and then shampoo it.

Normal hair mask for normal hair take one whole egg, two table spoon of ripe messed banana, one table spoon of yogurt or curt. mix all ingredients together and apply to your scalp and leave it for 30 minutes. After that wash your hair with normal water first and than shampoo it.

Dry hair mask for dry hair take one whole egg, one table spoon of messed avocado, one table spoon of yogurt or curt, two table spoon of coconut oil. Mix all ingredients together until you get a foam paste consistency and than apply to your scalp for 30 to 40 minutes. Note; for longer hair doubled the ingredients.

4. Chemical free product

if possible go with natural and chemical free product. Avoid sulfates, and alcohols in your shampoo and conditioner.

5. Don’t comb your hair when it wet.

Wet hair is extremely delicate and should be handled with care. When you get out of the shower, Pat and squeeze your hair dry with an absorbent towel when you’re finished washing it. Avoid scrubbing it dry, which can rough up the hair cuticles and tangle your hair into knots. Pat it gently or twist your hair into a towel, and gently squeeze to remove excess moisture. Choose a wide-tooth comb to comb your hair when slightly wet. Comb your hair by starting at the ends to gently work any tangles or knots so they are smooth. Once a section has been properly worked and smoothed, move up higher and higher until your hair has been combed neatly.

6. Trimming

Trim your hair every two months to get rid of those brown and rough split ends. Cut about 1/4th an inch of your hair every 8 to 10 weeks to get rid of split ends, which cause hair to break off thus preventing your hair from getting longer.

7. Back away from the heating tools

Heat styling tools can dry out your hair, which can lead to split ends, breakage, and overall damage. Try to use these devices as less as possible. If you’re going to style your hair with a hot tool, make sure you use a heat protecting spray first.

8. Eat right food.

Stress is another big cause of hair fall and baldness. It could be emotional, physical, related to family and relationship, financial or job related.
